About Sun Signs
In order to read your horoscope, you need to
know what your sun sign is. This is determined by the day you were
born. Usually, horoscopes will list the days that a particular sun
sign falls under. They get the name sun signs because the day you
were born is the day the sun was a part of one of the twelve
constellations that make up the sign of the zodiac. This means that
a sun sign is the same as a zodiac sign.
As you look at the dates of sun signs, you will notice that they do
not correspond with the standard calendar months. This is because
sun moves through the zodiac constellations at it's own pace and
never minds the calendar - it`s like
Online Games. In general,
it takes about 30 days for the sun to move through a single sign of
the constellation. Unfortunately, the standard calendar is made up
of 28, 30 or 31 days (and, every four years, a February with 29
days). This means that a sun or zodiac sign tends to begin in the
middle of one month and stretch on until the middle of the
next.
